Recording
By now you should have your equipment set up, your folders ready, drum track finished, and your song itching to be recorded. There are several different methods to recording, as well as several different programs in which you can use. I'll be covering a few different methods, and one program.
The program I will be using for this demonstration will be Sonic Foundry's Acid Music 3.0. If you are using a different version of Acid, don't worry too much. I've used two different versions myself, and over all, everything is about the same. The biggest differences are the locations of some of the buttons/features, and the addition of new features.
If you don't have Acid, don't worry too much. Some of what I'll be doing should be somewhat universal. Here is a screenshot of this great program:
